As a sequel to the concert last year (6 August 2020) (VIDEO , 5’ 28’’), ACDN is organising in Saintes on 6-9 August 2021 a festival called "Disarm to Live". It is supported by the city, by several partners, and by citizens responding to a call for crowdfunding.

Here is the programme and the list of speakers and performers (in order of appearance)

Jérôme Pellistrandi (Général 2°S) Chief editor of the the Revue Défense Nationale

Jean-Marie Matagne, Ph. D, President Action des Citoyens pour le Désarmement Nucléaire (ACDN)

Frédéric Ramel, Professor of Political Science, Researcher at the CERI, Sciences Po Paris

Larbi Benchiha, Franco-Algerian maker of numerous documentaries for France 3, prize-winner at several festivals

Renata Scant, Author, director, comedian, head of « Théâtre en action » (Charente)

Benoît Pelopidas, Professor of Political Science, Researcher at the CERI, Sciences Po Paris

Aude Fleurant, Former director of the programme "Armaments and the Defense Industry", SIPRI (Stockholm)

Yannick Quéau, Research Director, GRIP (Brussels)

Laurence Louër, Professor of Political Science, Researcher at the CERI, Sciences Po Paris

Patrick Moquay, Ex-mayor of St Pierre d’Oléron, former president of the federated communes of Ile d’Oléron

Gabriela Barrenechea, Composer, singer, guitarist et comedian

Benoît Biteau, Agronomic farmer, Member of the European Parliament

With a contribution of Bruce Gagnon, Coordinator of the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space

Each event is open to the public 15 minutes before its scheduled time. Since seating is limited, priority will be given 30 minutes in advance to people who have registered to attend. The events are demanding, but contribution to costs is voluntary.

The Festival takes place in Saintes on 6-9 August 2021, thanks in particular to donations from citizens. It goes ahead whatever the "health measures" taken by the government are.

- Priority access to every event in the festival, subject to the seats available and respecting the health norms current on the day - between 30 and 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the event.
